I spent a very happy time discussing politics with the sixth form students who are currently studying the subject. The school has an excellent reputation for encouraging pupils to study politics and understand how it affects their daily lives. They have even produced some local councillors in past years who have used their studies for good practical use. The school has also hosted my Mock Parliaments, with the wood panelled school hall being not dissimilar in size to the House of Commons Chamber.
