I was very pleased to be invited to speak to Brentwood Explorer Scouts before Christmas Eagle Hall, Warley. The evening began with a brief outline of how the Parliament functioned followed by a question and answer session. Questions ranged from 'What was the best thing about being an MP' and 'How do you become an MP', to 'How often do you speak in Parliament' and 'How often do you see the Prime Minister' and other questions about proportional representation and electronic voting.
Thanks to the Explorer Scouts for inviting me to come to visit them.
