Great news from Essex County Council's Cabinet Member for Children and Families, Cllr Dick Madden, this week following an inspection by Ofsted of the council's services for children:
"I want to formally make you aware that Ofsted published their recent inspection findings of our Childrens Services, which took place in November 2018.
I am pleased to state we attained an overall grading of Outstanding.
Judgements in others areas are as follows:-
- The Impact of Leaders on Social Practice with Children and Families – Outstanding
- The experiences and progress of Children who need help and protection – Outstanding
- The experience and progress of Children in Care and Care Leavers – Good"
