Constituents living in Ingatestone, Havering Grove and West Horndon will be pleased to hear a report, commissioned by the County Councils in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk, into are aware of National Grid’s proposal to build a new high voltage network reinforcement between Norwich, Bramford and Tilbury via overhead lines and pylons is due to be published this month.
Essex County Councillor Lesley Wagland, who also represents Ingatestone on Brentwood Borough Council, and is and Essex County Council Deputy to the Leader with principal accountabilities on Major Infrastructure Projects and Freeports, has briefed me on the commissioning of the independent report and I am looking forward to its publication soon.
I am currently arranging an update meeting about the pylons project, and have invited all those constituents who have been in touch with me about the scheme to date.
