I was pleased to hear that the Business Improvement District ballot results have been announced with 80% of businesses that voted voting ‘yes’, giving the Brentwood Business Partnership a clear mandate to work with the Council to deliver the Brentwood Connected Business Plan with the themes of ‘Improving places’, ‘Promoting places’, ‘Welcoming places’ and ‘Connecting places’. Brentwood Connected’s first term begins on 1st October and I look forward to seeing the exciting plans rolled out across throughout Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone.
I caught up with Kaye Thurgood of Sincerely Yours in Shenfield, and who chairs the Brentwood Business Partnership, for an online chat about all the Brentwood Improvement District will do for Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone, and look forward to seeing how the plans develop.
