The local NHS is asking people for their comments about proposals to offer fairer access to six healthcare services in mid and south Essex.
In July 2022, a change in the law created a new organisation, NHS Mid and South Essex, to take over local healthcare planning from the five former clinic
Following the creation of the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Service in July, there are differences in some of the services that were offered by the old CCGs. The ICS is now reviewing these services to make them equal across mid and south Essex as part of its ‘service harmonisation’ work.
